The Yeti is a formidable Hardmode enemy that appears exclusively during the Frost Moon event, specifically beginning at wave 12. As a post-Plantera threat, it boasts immense health and defense, requiring high-tier gear to defeat effectively. Its AI mimics other festive enemies but is far more aggressive, dealing massive damage ranging from 140 to over 300 depending on the game difficulty.

To combat this beast, utilize its one critical weakness: vertical positioning. Yetis will not attack if you are positioned at least three blocks above their head. Use platforms or flying mounts to maintain this safe height while raining down ranged or magical attacks. Avoid melee engagement unless you have significant knockback immunity or can strike quickly before it reaches you, as it is completely immune to standard knockback.

Defeating a Yeti yields 30 Silver and 75 Copper coins in addition to contributing significantly to your event score: 18 points on Classic, 36 on Expert, and 45 on Master mode.
