Lore & Background

The magic woven into this armor does not merely enhance spells; it births new life from conflict. Every strike against an enemy has the potential to summon floating orbs of pure energy, remnants of the Moon Lord's shattered will. These boosters orbit their wielder, granting temporary dominion over mana, damage, and vitality. In the heat of battle, a skilled mage does not just cast spells but dances with these celestial spirits, refreshing their duration through constant combat until they form an unbreakable triad of power that can even be shared with allies nearby.

In Their Own Story

A small, shimmering orb detached from the wreckage, drifting toward you with a gentle hum. It was a Mana Booster, a fragment of the fallen god's power made manifest. You felt your reserves instantly replenish, the cost of magic fading into nothingness as you caught the orb. Another enemy lunged, and you struck again, summoning a second orb that granted a surge of critical precision. A third strike brought the final piece, the three orbs locking into place around your shoulders like a halo of violet fire. You were no longer just a mage; you were a storm in human form, ready to rewrite the stars.

Reader's Guide

To acquire the Nebula armor set, you must first defeat the Moon Lord and gather the necessary materials from its remains. Crafting requires a total of 36 Luminite Bars (144 Luminite) and 45 Nebula Fragments at an Ancient Manipulator. The helmet costs 8 Luminite Bars and 10 fragments, the breastplate 16 bars and 20 fragments, and the leggings 12 bars and 15 fragments.

This set is exclusively designed for mages who prefer a high-risk, high-reward playstyle. Unlike other mage armors that rely solely on static stats, the Nebula set rewards aggressive combat. You must constantly strike enemies to spawn boosters, which provide stacking buffs for damage, critical strike chance, mana cost reduction, and health regeneration. The boosters expire after 8 seconds, so maintaining momentum is crucial.

Maximize your effectiveness by keeping at least one booster active at all times; picking up a booster refreshes its duration. In multiplayer, these orbs can be shared with teammates within a 43.75-tile radius, making you a vital support figure. Note that the Mana Booster restores mana even while actively using weapons, bypassing standard regeneration penalties. Avoid enemies like the Tesla Turret or Bubble Shield which cannot yield boosters, ensuring your rotation remains fluid and uninterrupted.
