Zenith
The final culmination of every blade forged across the cosmos
The Zenith is a Hardmode , post- Moon Lord melee weapon . When used, it rapidly fires fast-moving sword sprites towards the cursor in an arc returning to the player. The sword sprites can pass through blocks , pierce enemies infinitely, home in on nearby enemies, and create visual trails while traveling. The sword sprites have varying appearances , which function identically and have the same hitbox size. The Zenith has a base 14% critical strike chance as opposed to the usual 4%. The Zenith will transform into the True Copper Shortsword when thrown into Shimmer . Its best modifier is Legendary . Since it does not benefit from speed and size modifiers, Godly and Demonic provide the same DPS bonus as Legendary. However, Ruthless provides a higher DPS bonus if the player's critical strike chance is already at least 88%. - Zenith - Internal Item ID : 4956 - Internal Projectile ID : 933 - 1 Crafting 1.1 Recipes - 1.2 Shimmer transmutation - 1.3 Crafting tree - 2 Notes - 3 Achievements - 4 Tips - 5 Trivia - 6 History - 7 References

Lore & Background
The Zenith stands as the ultimate testament to a warrior's journey, weaving together the spirits of every sword ever wielded from the humble Copper Shortsword to the cosmic might of Meowmere. It is not merely a weapon but a convergence of history, where the light of the Enchanted Sword and the fury of the Horseman's Blade dance in unison. When swung, it does not simply strike; it summons an army of spectral blades that arc through the air, seeking out foes with a hunger born from centuries of combat. Each projectile carries the essence of its origin, yet they move as one harmonious entity, piercing through stone and flesh alike to deliver justice at the very edge of reality.
In Their Own Story
The Moon Lord looms above, his eyes glowing with ancient malice, but you stand unyielding. You draw the Zenith, a blade that hums with the collective memory of every conflict you have survived. With a flick of your wrist, the world dissolves into a kaleidoscope of light as dozens of sword sprites erupt from the hilt. They spiral outward in perfect arcs, ignoring gravity and geometry to hunt down the celestial horror. One moment the sky is dark; the next, it is blindingly bright with trails of green fire, purple energy, and golden starlight. The first strike lands true, a cascade of damage that bypasses armor and defenses. As the swords return to your hand, they carry the echoes of fallen enemies, their combined might shattering the final barrier between victory and defeat.
Reader's Guide
To forge this legendary artifact, you must first conquer the Moon Lord in Hardmode, then collect a specific set of eleven powerful swords including the Terra Blade, Meowmere, Star Wrath, Influx Waver, The Horseman's Blade, Seedler, Starfury, Bee Keeper, Enchanted Sword, and Copper Shortsword. These materials are combined at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil to create the Zenith. This weapon is exclusively for Melee builds and serves as the pinnacle of that class.
Maximize your damage by stacking melee speed bonuses carefully; while higher speed increases the number of swords fired per swing, excessive speed can reduce homing capabilities since the base projectile does not track targets. Position yourself so enemies are within a 20-tile radius of your cursor to ensure all secondary projectiles lock on effectively. The weapon deals massive damage behind you as well, making it versatile for crowd control against worm-like entities where multiple segments can be hit simultaneously.
